Day 1: Canada - Zagreb (Croatia)

Flight with a good itinerary. 


Day 2: Zagreb

Arrival at the airport in Zagreb. You will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting the customs and transferred to your hotel in Zagreb. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or start your exploration of Croatia's capital city. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb. (Dinner)


Day 3: Zagreb - Plitvice

After breakfast at the hotel, half-day guided city tour of Zagreb, Croatia's largest city. You will visit the fortified Upper Town built around St Mark's Church, constructed in the 13th century and famous for its multicoloured roof. The Lesser Town distinguished itself by the Austro-Hungarian architecture from the 18th and 19th century, especially in the historical center where the Croatian National Theatre is a notable example. Overlooking the city center with its two bell towers of over 100m each, the neo-Gothic cathedral will take your breath away with its detailed facade and beautiful interior.


Departure for Plitvice where you will visit the world-famous Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sixteen lakes, each at a different level, are joined in a series of spectacular waterfalls all in mesmerizing shades of blue. Surrounded by dense forest, the site of Plitvice Lakes is of rare beauty. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Plitvice. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 4: Plitvice - Trogir - Split

Breakfast and departure toward Trogir, a picturesque medieval town where you will visit the 13th-century Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Continuation to Split, known for its beaches and Diocletian's Palace, a huge complex erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century. Once home to thousands, its sprawling remains include more than 200 buildings. You will visit Diocletian's Palace with the Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Split. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 5: Split - Dubrovnik

Following breakfast, departure to Dubrovnik. Guided city tour of Dubrovnik Old Town, whose ensemble was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Its best-preserved buildings range from the baroque St. Blaise Church to the Renaissance Sponza Palace and the Gothic Rector’s Palace, now a history museum. Paved with limestone, the Stradun is the main commercial street with bars, restaurants and souvenir shops bustling on each side. You will visit the Franciscan monastery including Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector's Palace and the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 6: Dubrovnik

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day at leisure to continue your exploration of the beautiful medieval city of Dubrovnik, often dubbed the "Pearl of the Adriatic". Located on the southern tip of Dalmatia and facing the Adriatic Sea, the city is famous for its distinctive and well-preserved Old Town encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. Explore the city walls while observing local life below. Wander around the narrow cobbled streets of the medieval Old Town. Take on a short boat ride to Lokrum island and discover the Benedictine monastery from the 11th century and the botanical gardens. In the late afternoon, visit the Fort Imperial, located at the top of the low mountain behind the walled city, from where you will witness an unforgettable sunset. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 7: Dubrovnik - Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) - Sarajevo

After breakfast, departure to Mostar. On your sightseeing tour, you will cross Stari Most, or "Old Bridge", the city's most remarkable landmark edified in the 16th century, destroyed during the war, and rebuilt identically 20 years ago. Two fortified towers are built on each side of the bridge and you will see small houses with typical Turkish architecture hanging above the turquoise blue river. The mountains in the background make it a perfect postcard landscape. In the heart of the old town, you will see the old bazaar and the mosque from the 16th century.


Continuation to Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Located on the Miljacka River and surrounded by the Dinaric Alps, Sarajevo is a surprising city that attracts numerous travelers due to its authenticity. Afternoon guided city tour of Sarajevo including Baščaršija, the 16th-century Ottoman quarter very well preserved with its wooden shops, the Fountain square, the Clock tower and Gazi Husrev-bey mosque. Dinner and overnight in Sarajevo. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 8: Sarajevo - Belgrade (Serbia)

Following breakfast, departure northward to Belgrade with a stop for lunch (not included). Belgrade is the Balkan's largest city and the capital of Serbia. One of Europe's oldest cities, Belgrade's strategic position on the Danube river proved fatal several times over the course of history with 115 battles fought and more than 40 destructions. Its most significant landmark is the Beogradska Tvrđava, an important fortress built in the 1st century, occupied and improved by invaders over the centuries. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Belgrade. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 9: Belgrade - Zagreb (Croatia)

Breakfast at the hotel and half-day guided city tour of Belgrade. You will start the visit with Belgrade Fortress and continue toward Republic Square, where the magnificent National Museum and National Theatre buildings are located. Then, you will walk by Knez Mihajlova, the most important street in the city in regards to the value of its architectural heritage, to reach the Temple of Saint Sava, the largest Orthodox Church in Belgrade. After the tour, you will drive to Zagreb. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb. (Breakfast-Dinner)


Day 10: Zagreb - Canada

After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to the airport in Zagreb for your flight home. (Breakfast)

How much of a deposit is required?

You need to make a 50% deposit upon reservation to secure your seats. If your departure is in less than 60 days, the full amount is due when booking.

When is the balance due?

The balance is due 60 days prior to the departure date.

Is it a guaranteed departure?

Yes, all our departures are guaranteed.

Is triple occupancy available?

For this package, triple occupancy is on request, unless the 3rd passenger is a child aged between 2 and 11 years old (at the time of traveling). We will check price and availability upon reservation.

Will there be someone waiting for us at the airport?

Yes, our local operators will welcome you at the gate holding a sign with your name on it. You will be directly transfered to the hotel.

Is it possible to book additional tours?

Yes, on Day 6, you have free time to enjoy at leisure. Book a tour with your hotel or tour leader directly at destination.

Are tips included?

If you are happy with your guides and the services you receive, we suggest the following amounts: 

€3-4 per day per person for the tour leader and €2 / tour for the local guides. €2 per day per person for the driver,

In restaurants, tipping isn’t obligatory but is appreciated. Typically, the amount you tip will be up to you and the service you received, but, when in doubt, 10 percent is always welcome.

What is the average cost of a meal?

This organized tour package includes all breakfasts and 8 suppers. This will minimize your travel expenses. For the lunches, count about $16 CAD / $11 USD person on average for a mid-range restaurant.

Is it possible to add extras nights?

Yes, you may add extra nights to your package. However, for this tour, we can add nights only in Zagreb before or after the tour. Simply make the request with your reservation agent who will change your flights accordingly. We can include the same hotel or you may stay under your own arrangements. The price will be confirmed by your agent depending on availability.

Is the bus equipped with toilets, AC, Wi-fi?

There is Wi-Fi and AC on the bus. The tour does frequent rest stops.

Visa: No visa required for Canadian and US citizens.
