Trip was very well organized. No surprises. Everything according to the outline from wing buddy. Tour guides excellent, pick ups and drivers prompt. Only slight complaint I would have is that on the last day two 3 hour tours are a bit much. The information stated colosseum tour, unbeknownst to us that meant a 3.5 hour walking tour of the forum, palatine hill and then the colosseum. A few people dropped out of the walk part way finding it too much for one day after 3 hours in the Vatican in the morning. All in all was a fantastic trip, covered lots of area and was enjoyed by us. This is not our first wingbuddy trip. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you... Lire la suite

The trip was so organized, just the right mix of free time and guided tour. Nicole our guide was AWESOME ( very informative, professional & patient ) and Luigi our driver was marvelous keep him singing please =). The hotels were fine, I like the Santa Costanza as it is very easy to commute ( some complain that it's small and dated but hey this is Europe it is part of the charm for me ). A very good vacation trip. Rome which detailed the Vanican City and the Colloseum, history wise, were so interesting and full filling. The tour guide Patricia and our driver, Luiggi were the best and very responsive specially on our first day that we arrived late at Rafaello hotel. They are very cooperative specially when most of the travellers demanded for a break and a washroom. Thank you Wingbuddy!!! We will do it again in our next travel.... Lire la suite

Our 9-day itinerary was meticulously mapped out with the right amount of time (guided and free) at each stop. It was quite fast pace and some elderly participants seemed to have a hard time keeping up or waiting on the bus at times. Lucy, our guide definitely made our experience very special! She not only had a bottomless energy and a huge personality, she was a legitimate 'historian' of Italy with abundance of knowledge from text books and from her life experience. Lucy and Luigi, our driver together made every movement so smooth. They made perfect plans for "technical stops" (so we didn't have to pay), meeting spots (so we could avoid the sun), and even the side of the bus to load our luggage for each hotel (so it will be unloaded safely when your hotel is on a one-way street.) I am a former tour guide/event planner, and that level of coordination was quite impressive!! As for the hotels, our room at Roma Garden was extremely small, but its high ceiling helped created a roomier feel. The entire hotel was very clean and tastefully renovated. Their Front Desk and the dining room staff were all very friendly/helpful. Their breakfast was the BEST (variety & quality) of 3 hotels we stayed at. We only wished the location was in the city center where we could enjoy the night life on foot. All organized meals (one dinner in a hotel cafeteria with no windows, the other dinner at an indoor restaurant, and two lunches both indoor restaurants) were good, but personally we would have enjoyed some outdoor experience. The lasagna at a winery in Montepulciano was THE BEST THING we ate on the whole trip. Overall, we will give a solid Five Stars for pre, during, and post trip experiences. We will definitely recommend Wingbuddy to our family and friends.... Lire la suite

The whole tour was very well arranged. Was very helpful/prompt in answering the questions before the trip. Had to add 2 extra days to my trip (to arrive early and spend 2 days on our own) - the extra days of hotel and airport transfer was handled very smoothly. The tour itinerary was very well arranged and communicated. I am pretty sure that we couldn't have covered so much on our own. The Tour guide (Clara) was very energetic, professional and helpful. The bus driver (Gigi) took us around smoothly and safely around and was very helpful during loading/unloading stages during each city stop. Also, had a good fortune of having very friendly group - gave us opportunity to get to know people from all over the world (US (California, Texas, New Jersey), Canada (Ontario), Jordon, Yemen, Australia, Pakistan, Amsterdam, India, Ireland, Mexico and Brazil. The tour provided lunch/dinners provided good socializing opportunity with the whole group. Had a really good time! The hotel room in Rome was little dated - but, otherwise was well appointed, friendly staff and great breakfast. Also, great location - just off Roma Termini and walkable distance to Colosseum (and a stretch walk to Vatican too - last day of the tour, we trekked backed to hotel on foot). Hotel in Florence was modern - but, had horrible sound isolation (you can hear people from neighboring rooms talk and move) - breakfast was Ok compared to other 2 hotels. Hotel in Venice was the best - right off the canal with great view, well appointed/very modern and great breakfast. Felt that the staff could have been little more friendly/inviting though.... Hotel Uno in Florence was a bit strange of a hotel. The black hallways took a bit to get used to as well as the purple bathroom. I realize it was a modern hotel and some people love it and others don't. I think if the AC worked better I would rate that hotel higher. Sabrina our tour director was great. She was very knowledgeable, organized, fun to be with, and worked hard for us. Paolo our driver was good. I liked all the local tour guides that Sabrina hired for us. I wouldn't change out any one of them. My only issue was the final day in Rome seemed a bit disorganized. It was the day of our colosseum tour. Getting us to the tour and set with a tour guide could have been better. When we were dropped off it seemed like no one knew what they were doing or who we should see to be assigned a group, or what group to be in. I wasn't happy with that disorganization especially since everything before then was smooth. The tour was great and our local guide knowledgeable. Oh, and the wingbuddy staff was very helpful. I wasn't sure of my plans and the staff was able to get us a transfer from the hotel in Rome to the airport close to the last minute. I emailed at the start of the tour when I finalized my plans and the staff was able to get me the transfer. I appreciated the effort the WingBuddy staff put in to get that and it was very helpful for the rest of my trip to Italy.... Lire la suite

Although the trip was wonderful because of the beautiful Italian Countryside, the hotels were more like three star hotels and the hotel food was closer to three star than four star but the lunches and dinners outside of the hotels were excellent five stars. The tour director, patrizia, and bus, and bus driver were the best part of the trip , five stars Plus , as well as the other Travelers who were wonderful as well. July 1, 2019

My experience with the tour was overall amazing. I arrived to the airport with my family, 2 hours late due to delays in flights and I was stressed to figure out how I would be able to get transport from the airport to the hotel; to realize our driver had been waiting for us the whole time. Our travel to Italy was beyond stressful, and it was definitely a relief to have someone awaiting our arrival and guiding us our first few hours in a country we have never been to before. We met with Marijam the next morning and we loved her. She was very informative/knowlegable, bright and energetic, as well as easy to talk to. Qualities you definitely would want in a person who would be guiding you for the next 10 days. She kept things interesting, and made sure our needs were being met, at the same time she was able to make our entire group befriend one another, almost as a family. The first hotel we stayed at was amazing, Rome Garden hotel was a great experience. The hotel had wonderful staff that went above and beyond for our needs and accommodations, food was great, and not to far from the busy scenery. We started our stay in Italy at this hotel and ended our stay here at this same hotel and I was not disappointed. I would love to stay again if I were to come to Rome in the future. The second hotel that our family stayed in was great, staff was great and had wide selection for breakfast. The only complaint was that the dinner that the dinner the was provided was horrible. Dinner consisted of gnocchi about a spoonful, very bland and tasteless, followed by four small cubes of turkey in some sauce with a spoonful or two of roasted potatoes, ending with dessert. Thankful for having dinner provided after the travel, but it definitely lacked flavor, portion was way to small, and not a meal I would like to get served again. Hotel del fino in Venice was an okay experience, location was great, close to the train station, easy access to stores and restaurants. Dinner that was provided was amazing, salmon with veggies were delicious. The down side was that one of the elevators were broken, the room was not cool enough, the mini refrigerator was not cool any items, and the breakfast although it came with variety was hard/ tasteless/ and not appealing. I would definitely look into other options if I were to come to Venice again. Our driver Paolo was amazing, he definitely treated us all with respect and brought us to our locations safely and in a timely manner. Our tour guides were overall great. The tour guide that was provided in Florence spoke a little too fast and there were a number of time where I felt lost since she did walk a little to fast through the crowds. The Tour guide that was provided at the Vatican was not so great, given that the pope had the church closed beginning 10am she really rushed us through the church and our experience there. The meeting place was to be in the middle of the church, which was horrible since security brought us straight to the exit and was impossible to meet at the middle of the church due to the natural flow of the other guest and everyone yelling at one another. She should have already estimated the degree of how crowed it was going to be and meet somewhere else, she stayed in the middle of the church for some time but past those mid gates there was no way. There were various times that she said she would bring us to a certain location to see a specific item, to find out she already exited the area and we were already out and ending our tour. Our tour guide was simply doing a job, seemingly uninterested and not looking out for our interest. Sadly to say I did not enjoy my experience at the Vatican. Overall experience was great, and as I look onto a map, I am beyond happy that I was able to visit almost all of Italy. Thank you. ... Lire la suite

My one comment would be that you add an “activity” level for the coach tours as we were told by our tour guide that we would be walking at least 5k daily and a lot of that was uphill it was a fast-paced tour which was daunting for a few people. UN RÊVE À L'ITALIENNE

7 NUITS / 9 JOURS

Jour 1: Canada - Rome (Italie)
Vol avec un bon itinéraire.

Jour 2: Rome

Jour 3: Rome - Assise - Sienne - Florence

(Déjeuner-Lunch)

Jour 5: Florence - Bologne - Padoue - Venise

Jour 9: Rome - Canada

Nicole our guide was AWESOME ( very informative, professional & patient ) and Luigi our driver was marvelous keep him singing please =).
